Women’s day Celebrations:

Contributed and participated towards women’s day celebrations in Pece stadium. This involved training women to perform and sing for guests and make exhibitions of their products. The women composed songs concerning the plight of women and role played the right of women in a home. They also exhibited the honey that was harvested and the paper beads that they had produced. The organizations had the best honey and were recommended by the district officials for being result oriented. Among other items exhibited were pots, baskets, and chicks. Achievement:  Most of these products exhibited were sold and the members raised 500,000 from the sales. The women interacted and shared their achievements and challenges and other groups performed.
